Neuro Emotional Technique helps identify “stuck” emotional patterns that are often responsible for aches, pains and even self-defeating habits. An NET appointment can be from 20, 40 minutes up to 1 hour depending on the patients needs.
NET is a system of finding imbalances in the structural, chemical or emotional side of the health triad that may be caused by past emotional trauma. Emotions are physiologically based. Two notes from a song can either make you happy or sad because it was either your wedding song or your breakup song. This is because past emotions have been stored chemically in your system and may get retriggered by a current event. NET has a free online wellness questionnaire to help identify stuck meridian patterns below.
The emotions get stored in the meridian system (acupuncture energy pathways). There are twelve meridians related to an emotion and also to different muscles that affect different areas of the body. Below is an incomplete and simple example of a complex system.
Meridian-Usual Emotion-Regions Affected the Most
*Kidney-Fear-Neck & Low Back
*Bladder-Lack of Control-Back & Ankles
*Pancreas-Esteem-Shoulder
*Liver-Anger- Mid back & shoulder
*Gall Bladder-Resentment-Knee & Hip
*Lung- Grief-Shoulder & Ribs
*Small Intestine-Abandonment-Pelvis/Low Back/Knee
When an emotion gets stuck, it affects an energy pathway, called a meridian, in the body. Since meridians are related to muscles, then muscles can be affected by emotions. Therefore structural imbalances in the body can be caused by an emotional stressor/physiological imbalance.
With NET we are able to identify past emotional events that are currently affecting your health. With simple NET techniques, we were able to remove the imbalance and let the body heal itself.
It is important to note, NET does not cure or heal the patient, but rather removes blocks to the natural vitalism of the body, allowing the body to heal and/or repair itself." - One Research Foundation (www.oneresearchfoundation.org)

Benefits of Neuro Emotional Technique for Trauma Healing
1. Holistic Healing: NET takes a holistic approach to trauma healing by addressing emotional, physical, and energetic imbalances. By acknowledging the interconnectedness of these aspects, individuals can experience a more complete and enduring recovery.
2. Efficiency: Traditional talk therapies can sometimes take months or even years to uncover and process deeply buried emotions. NET, on the other hand, often provides rapid relief by targeting specific emotional imbalances and releasing them at their root.
3. Non-Invasive: NET is a non-invasive technique that doesn't require individuals to relive or recount their traumatic experiences in detail. This can be particularly beneficial for those who may find traditional talk therapies retraumatizing.
4. Long-Lasting Results: By targeting the neurological pathways associated with trauma, NET aims to create lasting changes in emotional responses. This means that individuals can experience reduced emotional reactivity and heightened resilience in the face of triggers.
5. Complementary Approach: NET can be used alongside other therapeutic modalities, creating a comprehensive approach to trauma recovery. It complements techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, and even traditional therapy, enhancing their effectiveness.
The NET Healing Process
A typical NET session involves several key steps:
1. Emotion Identification: The practitioner guides the individual through a series of questions to identify specific emotions linked to their trauma. This process often involves muscle testing to determine which emotions are most impactful.
2. Emotion Release: Using gentle techniques such as tapping, the practitioner helps the individual release the trapped emotions from their body's memory. This is often accompanied by a sense of emotional release and relief.
3. Neurological Repatterning: With the emotions released, the nervous system has an opportunity to reset and establish healthier patterns of emotional response. This can lead to reduced anxiety, depression, and other symptoms associated with trauma.
4. Integration: The individual is guided through processes to integrate the emotional healing, helping them create new, positive associations and reactions to past triggers.
5. Ongoing Support: Trauma healing is a journey, and NET practitioners often provide ongoing support to help individuals navigate their progress and address any emerging emotional challenges.
Real-Life Success Stories
NET has garnered a reputation for its transformative effects on trauma healing. Consider the story of Sarah, a survivor of a car accident that left her with severe anxiety and panic attacks. Traditional therapy provided some relief, but it wasn't until she tried NET that she experienced a profound shift. Through the gentle release of trapped emotions associated with the accident, Sarah found her anxiety gradually subsiding. Over time, she regained a sense of control over her emotions and was able to resume activities that had once triggered intense fear.
Similarly, James, a combat veteran, struggled with recurring nightmares and flashbacks from his time in the military. Despite years of therapy, he found little relief. After undergoing a series of NET sessions, James reported a significant reduction in his nightmares and a newfound sense of calmness. By addressing the emotional imprints linked to his trauma, NET enabled James to regain a sense of peace and improved sleep quality.

Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) is used worldwide by a variety of health professionals from Chiropractors to Psychologist to Medical Doctors.
Developed over 35 years ago, NET continues to evolve and represent the latest science has to offer in relation to managing stress.
Unlike traditional "talk it out" methods, NET utilizes various modalities to help shift the way you may be reacting to unuseful memories, experiences and events that can affect the way you experience and live your life now.
The Science Behind Neuro Emotional Technique
NET is rooted in the understanding of the intricate relationship between emotions, the nervous system, and the body's overall health. Developed by Dr. Scott Walker in the 1980s, NET combines principles from traditional Chinese medicine, chiropractic care, and neuroscience to create a comprehensive approach to emotional healing. It operates on the belief that traumatic experiences can disrupt the body's energy flow, leading to emotional blockages and physical ailments.
NET involves a non-invasive process of identifying and releasing these emotional blockages by accessing the body's meridian system – the energy pathways recognized in Chinese medicine (no needles). Practitioners use muscle testing to pinpoint specific emotions that are trapped in the body's memory, enabling them to facilitate the release of these emotions, thereby restoring emotional equilibrium and promoting overall well-being. Science has shown that emotions are physiologically based (Candace Pert, PhD).
NET is used to help alleviate stress and address chronic problems - for instance pain that has developed for an unknown reason. NET can also be used to help with unwanted patterns in life around money, career, relationships or other limiting beliefs. Through muscle testing and semantic responses, Neuro Emotional Technique seeks to identify and clear these learned stress response pathways, allowing you to overcome these and future issues relating to this original event. NET aim is to help you foster more acceptance, mindfulness and presence so you can get more out of life!

"Home Base" Re-establish structural integrity, the foundation of health.
Nerve and Structural interference happens when nerves or tissues are interfered with causing the life energy, which flows through them, to be blocked. It can be produced through trauma such as an accident or fall, fractures, surgery emotional stress, etc. If our tissues, muscles or fascial movements are restricted it can cause interference with the electrical impulses moving through them. Pain and disease are not the initial cause, but are actually key indicators of nerve interference. Re-establishing structural integrity is the foundation of health. Eighty-percent of all conditions improve when the structure of the body is properly re-established to allow a free flow of vital energy. You may receive a full analysis and examination of spinal subluxations, muscle imbalances, posture, and gait, to determine where the structure is blocked or interfered with, using a combination of:
Many corrections exist to easily rebalance the body without discomfort.
"1st Base" Rebalance emotional patterns and remove anti-sabotage patterns.
Basic emotions — fear, anger, grief, and others— are part of the normal response to everyday experiences. Generally these emotional responses dissipate as the situation that triggers them resolves. For example, if you encounter a growling dog while you’re walking down the street, you may feel fear. The fear, in this case, is part of the healthy emotional response that protects your survival, and it will normally dissipate when the threat is gone. However, sometimes there are factors that prevent the body from recovering from what was originally a healthy response. The result is a short–circuit or “glitch” in the nervous system, which can affect physical and mental well-being. Scientists recognize the connection between the nervous system, emotions, and health. Historically, emotions were thought to reside entirely in the brain. Now we know that emotions chemically affect the body on almost every level. If you’ve ever felt butterflies in your stomach when you’ve been anxious or a heaviness in your chest when you were sad, then you know first-hand how emotions can affect the body. Moreover, studies have shown that stress and emotional distress can make us vulnerable to illness. Corrections include:
"2nd Base" Remove Toxins from the body
Toxic metals are widely used in industry, food processing, and agriculture, and find their way into our air, food, and water. Exposures to these toxins are not blatantly obvious to us and are hard to pinpoint as a cause for illness. Some toxins are naturally occurring chemicals that our body has a hard time breaking down. When accumulated in our cells these toxins can cause mutation or death. These can be harmless in very small quantities but deadly in larger amounts. Researchers and experts in environmental medicine tell us that it is not a questions of if our bodies are burdened with toxic overload but "how bad is it." Common problems of toxicity include: Headaches, fatigue, general joint and muscle pain, skin disorders like rashes and eczema, and asthma and allergies. Many toxins are neurotoxins like mono sodium glutamate and mercury and affect our brain functions such as memory, quick thinking and moods. Corrections include:
"3rd Base" Rebalance
Nutrition Surveys show that 20% of the US population never eats vegetables, and 40% rarely consumes fruit or fruit juices. 80% of the population never consumes whole grains or high-fiber foods. All forms of refined sugar lower the immune system's functions and interferes with the ability of the white blood cells to destroy unfriendly bacteria. The standard American diet, which contains food grown on depleted soils, has left Americans deficient in many nutrients important to health. In 1936, U.S. Senate Document 264 noted that 95% of Americans are deficient in one or more major minerals and many trace minerals, which have been proven to be necessary for bone mineralization.
